I was invited by singer-songwriter Rachel Kurtz to sing a few tunes in her "Let It Snow Christmas Show" at the Icehouse Bar and Grill in Minneapolis, MN.

September - October, 2016
  
Another round of "Church Basement Ladies" at Maples Reperatory Theater in Macon, MO! This time we did the fifth in the series, "The Last Potluck Supper."

A publicity appearance on a local television show in Columbia, Missouri for "Church Basement Ladies 5: The Last Potluck Supper." {We all start singing around 2:15.}

I played "Karin Engelson" in "Church Basement Ladies" at Beef and Boards Dinner Theater in Indianapolis, IN.

Beef and Boards Dinner Theater did a featured story on me when I arrived to play Karin in "Church Basement Ladies." The article revealed a few fun facts about my connection to the role, including that I was a real Minnesota Lutheran. You can read it here

Passing it on to the next generation ... I got to be at my niece's first dance recital, and help her get ready for her debut performance!

The year after college, I travelled with a Youth Encounter band for a full year, playing the keyboard and singing for over 300 one-nighters. At their last concert before they closed down operations after 51 years, they asked me to sing the role of Cosette in a parody of "One Day More."

I played a variety of musical comedy roles in the first public reading of "My Toothbrush Killed an Albatross" by Dana Boll at La Mama Experimental Theater Club in New York City.

I played the role of Joan in the first public reading of a new musical, "Question 1" by Chris Reza. Our reading was part of the 4X15 series at the Musical Theatre Factory in New York City.

September - October, 2015
  
I returned to Maples Rep in Macon, MO to reprise the role of Karin in "Church Basement Ladies." This year we did the 4th musical in the Church Basement Ladies series, "A Mighty Fortress is our Basement," for record-setting audiences.

I filmed a new musical theater reel including three of my favorite songs: "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out," "Being Mrs. Banks," and "If I Knew You Were Comin' I'd've Baked a Cake." 

July, 2015: The Sound of Music
  
On my 10-day vacation in Austria, I created a one-woman version of the Sound of Music, filmed entirely on location. It was all for fun, so I hope you enjoy it!

May - August, 2015: Summer Vocal Intensive
  
I'm doing a summer intensive through Kim Stern Vocal Studio. I have loved working with Kim off and on over the years, so I can hardly wait to see what I learn through four voice lessons/vocal coaching sessions a week this summer.

May, 2015: Mad Men Fan Cut
  
To celebrate the last eipsode of "Mad Men," AMC asked fans to make short clips recreating scenes from the first episode. A few of the scenes some friends and I made were personally chosen by Matthew Weiner to appear on the MadMen site.

April-May, 2015: The Art of the Callback
  
After being out of town with a show, it's always a challenge to get back into the swing of things with auditions, so I took a 5-week audition class called "The Art of the Callback." It was such a helpful series with Austin and Travis from The Other Side of the Table.

April, 2015: Housewife Aerobics
  
During our "Wizard of Oz" contract, the creative and talented Carlita Victoria wrote a comedy sketch video called "Housewife Aerobics" in which I played the housewife.

February - April, 2015: The Wizard of Oz
  
I'm thrilled to play my first villian: Miss Gulch and the Wicked Witch of the West in "The Wizard of Oz" at Fireside Dinner Theater in Fort Atkinson, WI.

December, 2014: Demo Recording for Dempsey and Rowe
  
John Dempsey and Dana P. Rowe asked me to record demos of three of their "trunk songs" to be used in an upcoming production at the Signature Theater Company. Click the photo to hear my favorite of the songs, with John singing the character of Warren G. Harding and Val Moranto and I singing both the soprano and alto backup lines.

August - September, 2014: The Witches of Eastwick
  
I was honored to play the ensemble role of Eudora Bryce in Cameron Mackintosh's northeast premiere of "The Witches of Eastwick" at Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, ME starring James Barbour, Sally Struthers, Mamie Parris, Sara Gettlefinger, Nancy Anderson, and Jim Walton. 

July - August, 2014: Mary Poppins
  
Christian Saint-Girard, who I met last summer while working at Gretna Theatre, called me to be Mrs. Brill and the Bird Woman in a production of "Mary Poppins" that he was directing at Forestburgh Playhouse in the Catskills in upstate New York.
